Background
Lower Cape Fear LifeCare is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing access to the highest quality LifeCare, education, and supportive services to their patients, their families, and the communities they serve. We first collaborated with LCFL when they revised their name and logo to reflect their expanded services. We provided animation assets for use in broadcast and digital platforms.
The initial collaboration between NMP Creative and LCFL created an ongoing relationship to produce updated videos for patients and families. The goal was to simplify complex processes into a clear, easy-to-understand format. While LCFL already had strong print and web materials, video proved essential for bridging the gap and starting more meaningful conversations.
While providing updated visuals for the GUIDE video, we also created an updated animated logo for LCFL’s LifeCare Memory Partners division, keeping it in line with their established LCFL logo animation to ensure brand cohesiveness.
Pre-Production
Our solution involved creating completely new visuals and detailing the animation beats in a thorough storyboard for approval. Working closely with stakeholders, we revised the boards based on key insights and visual cues needed to convey the messaging.
The storyboard visuals had character designs carried over from a video produced in tandem, their Introduction to Hospice Video. Updating some of the character designs and creating new assets, our goal was to ensure that the GUIDE topic was accessible, informative, and engaging to viewers.
By comparing these storyboards to the final video, you’ll be able to see how we continued to evolve the visuals and iterate based on client feedback, ensuring alignment with LCFL’s goals.
Post-Production
Taking the assets from the storyboards, we carefully rigged characters and created 3D scenes within After Effects. Utilizing a combination of editing techniques and animation principles, we made sure the scenes and graphics flowed naturally, delivering a compelling story.
In video production, visuals grab attention, but it’s sound design that keeps people watching and makes the story resonate. It’s the emotional glue that binds visuals together, guiding viewers through the story and amplifying its impact.
Utilizing hundreds of sound effects and a professional voice over artist, the LCFL’s videos keep the attention of the viewer, ensuring maximum retention.
At NMP Creative, we strive to make sure that our sound design is as compelling as the visuals. We want to make sure your audience connects what they see to what they hear. Because when picture and sound work together, that’s when video becomes an experience.
